About Dr Andras Forster
Dr Andras Forster (DMD, Phd) graduated in 2006. He completed a three year full time residency programme at the Szeged University, Hungary and received a specialisation in Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics in 2009. He continued to teach operative dentistry at the Szeged University as an assistant professor for five more years. He has been studying, teaching and researching biomimetic methods since 2009 and is a pioneer of the biomimetic concept in his home country. In 2013 he transitioned to a private practice and is a restorative dentist at the world famous Urban Regeneration Institute in Budapest, where he has worked since 2016. In 2019 he earned his PhD degree for the thesis “Biomimetic Restoration of Endodontically Treated Posterior Teeth”. In the publications of the thesis, he laid down the foundations of the new generation short fibre reinforced restorations of endodontically treated teeth. He is the author and co-author of several international publications. He is an international lecturer and has founded his own education platform, the Biomimetic Hub.
