Meet Dr Claire O’Connor

Dr Claire O’Connor graduated from University College Cork, Ireland in 2006. In 2010, she successfully completed the Membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. With a passion for biomimetic restorative dentistry, she pursued extensive training to enhance her expertise in this field. Dr O’Connor undertook the Biomimetic Mastership programme at the Alleman Center of Biomimetic Dentistry. In 2022, she received training in the science of stress-reduced direct composites from Dr Simone Deliperi. Currently, she is an active participant in the Mimetika programme on Bio-inspired Advanced Adhesive Dentistry based in Europe.

Dr O’Connor’s clinical practice focuses exclusively on biomimetic restorative dentistry, with a particular emphasis on rubber dam isolation and magnification. She regularly conducts hands-on rubber dam courses in Ireland, where she shares her expertise in biomimetic dental techniques. Notably, Claire recently joined the Bio-Emulation group as part of the UK & Ireland team, further enriching her contributions to the field.
