Dr Amir Ghanem is a biomimetic restorative dentist and lecturer based in Syria, with a clinical focus on adhesive dentistry, fibre reinforcement and the restoration of structurally compromised teeth. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Damascus University in 2021 and has since dedicated his work to minimally invasive, evidence-based restorative dentistry.

Dr Amir Ghanem is a biomimetic restorative dentist and lecturer based in Syria, with a clinical focus on adhesive dentistry, fibre reinforcement and the restoration of structurally compromised teeth. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Damascus University in 2021 and has since dedicated his work to minimally invasive, evidence-based restorative dentistry.
He serves as a senior lecturer in restorative dentistry at the American Arab Academy of Dentistry, and is a speaker in adhesive dentistry and fibre reinforcement for Oubari Habboush Dental. Through his teaching he has trained more than 150 dentists across Syria in modern biomimetic restorative protocols and clinical workflows, a programme he continues to grow each year.
His particular interest lies in indirect bonded restorations: assessing the structural state of a compromised tooth, building a reinforced biobase, and delivering partial-coverage restorations that preserve the remaining tooth structure. Dr Ghanem pairs a close reading of the current adhesive and materials evidence with a practical, step-by-step clinical method that general dentists can apply predictably in everyday practice.
