Posterior Biobases (Audio: Spanish. Subtitles: English, Spanish)
presented by:
Dr Patricio Gutierrez Pino
To achieve predictable adhesive results in the posterior region, we ultimately must maximise bond strengths and reduce stress to our developing hybrid layer. In this comprehensive 3 hour 29 minute webinar series, Dr Patricio Gutierrez Pino guides us through the fundamental concepts of Biomimetic Dentistry, with a focus on posterior biobase formation. He discusses the key Biomimetic objectives, including maximisation of adhesive strength, marginal sealing, maintenance of pulp vitality, and stress control.
Dr Gutierrez believes in having a core understanding of the techniques and theory, rather than simply relying on specific products or materials. He places strong emphasis on structural analysis and understanding that we are attempting to mimic nature with our restorations. Dr Patricio teaches us these concepts by walking us through several of his own clinical cases, giving us an invaluable insight into his thought process and decision making.
This lecture was recorded in Dr Patricio’s native language of Spanish. English subtitles, which have been manually verified, are available by default.
