In the past, restoring severely compromised anterior teeth often involved destructive intraradicular anchorage systems. However, with advancements in adhesive systems and techniques and a move towards a more minimally-invasive approach, a new challenge arises: creating a robust and durable Hybrid Layer in challenging environments with high Configuration Factors. Rehabilitating endodontically treated anterior teeth has been the subject of much debate, however the biomimetic approach has the potential to offer greater predictability and success. By leveraging advanced adhesive protocols, we can preserve and maximise the remaining tooth structure, facilitating both internal and external sealing. Dr Patricio Gutierrez has gained international recognition for his clinical work and documentation in this area.
