She works through rubber dam setup in detail, from sheet and clamp selection to ligature placement, then demonstrates isolation across various scenarios, from split-dam and single-tooth approaches to multitooth isolation with individual perforations and full-arch isolation. She then compares the caries removal options and explains how to divide the cavity into a peripheral seal zone and a pulpal zone while distinguishing caries-infected from caries-affected dentin. Throughout, Dr Macurová highlights what makes primary teeth different from permanent teeth, and how biomimetic protocols can be adapted to respect these differences.
