Summary – What is the BioRim?

The BioRim is the 2-3 mm of tooth structure (enamel, DEJ/DEC and superficial dentin) located above the position of the CEJ. In relation to the Compression Dome concept, the BioRim forms the base of the dome, and therefore preservation of the BioRim is important.
