Summary – What is the BioDome?

Where the BioRim is considered the 2-3 mm of tooth structure located above the CEJ, you may see the coronal portion of the tooth/restoration referred to as the BioDome. For Biomimetic indirect restorations, the BioDome will commonly consist of a ceramic onlay or overlay which has been adhesively bonded to the BioRim.
