Brand assets

Our logo, our colours and the typeface we use. Everything here is free to use if you are lecturing for The Hybrid Layer, writing about us, or listing us as a provider.

Logo files

The mark is three stacked bars, always in these proportions and these colours. Every file has a transparent background, so it sits on white, on navy or on a photograph without a box behind it.

Use the SVG wherever it is accepted: Canva, Keynote, Figma, Illustrator and most web tools take it. It stays sharp at any size and the file is a few kilobytes. Use the PNG for PowerPoint, Word, Zoom backgrounds and anything that rejects SVG.

Colours

Three colours make the logo. The blue is the only accent we use anywhere: on buttons, links and progress bars. Everything else is navy and near-black.

The logo

Layer grey#CFD3D4Top bar
Navy#2D3748Middle bar, and our text colour on light backgrounds
Blue#7AAFC9Bottom bar, and the accent everywhere else

The website

Blue bright#A8C8DBLinks, hover states, section labels
Navy deep#1A1F2EPanels and deeper bands
Page base#10151FThe site background
  • Text on a blue fill is always navy #0D1119, never white.
  • On dark backgrounds we run white text at full strength for headings and around 70% opacity for body copy, rather than flat white throughout.

Type

One typeface, everywhere: Open Sans. It is free, it is on Google Fonts, and it is already installed in Canva and available in Google Slides. If you are working somewhere it is not available, any clean sans serif is fine on your own material. Do not substitute it inside our logo.
